This website is dedicated to helping you find those famous and not so famous historical sites across the British Isles.
From castles to fort, historic houses to burial chambers, mottes to ancient churches, stone circles to tower houses.  A wide range of historical sites across England, Scotland and Wales.
The British Isles has been divided up into their original county. 
  • To find out more about how the maps work click on 'How this website works' which will detail information how I have mapped the historic locations.
  • If you click on 'Map Pages' you will find the counties broken down into areas.  Click on the blue text to be taken to the list of countries with the maps listed below. 
  • You can also use 'Historical Lists' to find more information about what each icon represents.

To track these sites down, I have used google maps to locate and high-light these locations.  Please be aware that this website is a work in progress so please come back for regular updates and changes.  Use the Historical Lists page as a key to maps link to find out about the maps and what is what as well as some extra information.
